Sales and Service Tax (SST) Starts in September
SST starts in September 2018
Malaysia to impose a tax (Sales and Service Tax / SST) on products and services starting from September 2018. However, the Sales and Service Tax does not include fuel products (RON95, RON97, diesel) and feminine hygiene products. Also pointed out that in the future if the pricing of crude oil falls low, the tax may be imposed on the fuel products.
