New bridge Estimated to be Completed in Two Years

According to the latest information provided by Southern Corridor Malaysia, a new bridge (Pontian Johor Bahru bridge) is currently under construction. Currently, it takes roughly 50 kilometers to get to Tanjung Bin from Johor. With the new bridge, the journey will be shortened to 15 kilometers. In addition, this road will open new pathways to Kukup, Serkat, Telok Kerang and Tanjung Bin industrial area, further improving the economic development of the entire region. The bridge is expected to be completed by 2020.
