Ken Boon Primary School was founded in 1926. In the beginning, the school was situated within the village in a simple Attap house, which is a traditional housing.

In the 1960s, Ken Boon was moved out onto the main road. Under the leadership of past school committees, the school developed smoothly and rapidly. Until today, with the help of the school committee, the family education association, and the alumni, the school’s facilities are well equipped.

Not only is Ken Boon now equipped with air-conditioned offices and meeting rooms, it also has a majestic school hall, canteen, and even computer labs. The school has won several prizes from the Ministry of Education.

Chi Mang Primary School has won awards for having the best school facilities in Johor’s rural area.

Under the leadership of various school principals, Chi Mang’s reputation is rising rapidly. Not only has the school achieved flying colours academic results, Chi Mang is also well known for its facilities.
