Operation of Kukup food street began on February 2018. Available every Saturday evening, stall owners will set up their stalls along Kukup main road, selling a variety of local snacks, food, souvenirs and other items, even gaming booths.

Many people often wonder about the origin of the name《东西街》 (translated as East & West Street). It is because the street starts from the entrance of Kukup Laut in the west to the entrance of Air Masin in the east, hence the name《东西街》 (East West Street).

Kukup food street is organized by AJK Kukup Street committee, a non-profit organization. The committee provides the tents and the power supply for the members. Vendors must sign up with the committee by filling up application forms from the committee, as well as to follow the rules and regulations set up by the committee.

There are a variety of stalls available in the night market and the street is open on Saturday from 6 pm to 11.30 pm. Kukup food street warmly welcomes you.
