Kukup Bus Terminal
Kukup bus terminal was officially opened in June 2004.
The land was originally an area of marsh, it was landfilled and served as a car park area. It was later converted to the Kukup bus terminal.
In the first few years after opening, there was a food center on the second which sold delicious food and snacks and was often filled with people.
As the land was landfilled, the foundation may be unstable. The terminal is now abandoned due to land subsidence and the lack of maintenance. Another speculation for the land subsidence may be due to the erosion caused by the sea during high tide.
Many cracks can be found in many corners of the abandoned bus terminal.
