Flour packaging bag is the fabric of choice for fisherman clothing in the early days because they are durable and economical.
After much difficulty and with the help of many people, Ken Boon Primary has recreated the fisherman apparel using the traditional flour packaging bag. It is currently on display at the Ken Boon Primary Library.
On top of that, there is another use for the durable flour packaging bag. The locals put dried shrimps into the bag and beat the bag on wooden blocks to separate the shells from the dried shrimps.
